Asylett’s aim is to provide our readers with excitement, adventure and romance in the form of well-written fiction. To that end, we are always seeking fresh stories, stories with exciting plots or unique twists, stories that capture, mesmerize and satisfy. Use your imagination to take us to exotic lands, or worlds far away, introduce us to characters with depth and emotion for whom we will come to care, treat us to stories that will take our breath away. Send us your best, skillfully-crafted and carefully-honed stories, and Asylett will give your work the full consideration you deserve.
For a list of the genres we currently publish, see our Genre Guidelines, below. While we primarily publish fiction, we will consider non-fiction or educational submissions, as stipulated.
Please Note:
We do not accept erotica, manuscripts with homosexual themes or concepts, witchcraft or blasphemous storylines.
As of September 2010, beyond those series or books we have currently contracted, we are no longer accepting manuscripts containing strong or vulgar language, or explicit sex. In the romance genre, in particular, we believe stories that celebrate devotion and love can be sensual without the need for overt sexual description, and we prefer romances that do not promote sexual activity outside of marriage. Likewise, extreme emotions can be portrayed without the necessity strong, vulgar or offensive language.
While Asylett Press, Inc. is not exclusively a Christian publishing house, we do
believe in God, and His Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and therefore
desire to
please Him. We recognize that authors have the
right to freedom of
speech and it is not our intention to censor or transgress this important
right, however we must obey that which God commands in our hearts. We must do what is right in His sight, not our own. We thank you for understanding.
