BIOGRAPHY

Ria Gomes is an Indian, born and raised in Goa. She now resides in the Sultanate of Oman where she has worked as an Executive Secretary for the past several years before giving up her nine-to-five job after her second child was born to chase long neglected dreams. Although Ria has been reading romances ever since her teenage days, and wrote her first short story at fourteen, her hopes of becoming a writer were thwarted by well-meaning family who believed this would hamper her academic life, and years and years passed before she could resurrect those dreams. What Ria still loves best is reading heart-warming romances with happy endings, but when she’s not immersed in reading or writing a romance, you can find her involved in other creative projects like needlework, tailoring, crocheting or cooking, or simply taking pleasure from listening to music, especially during long distance rides with her handsome husband down the beautiful roads of Oman.
